On behalf of Memramcook’s Municipal Council, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our website. We hope that you will find within these pages all the information you need to learn about our beautiful region.
Are you looking for a spot to call home? Memramcook is indeed the ideal place to live. In our little piece of paradise, there are large lots on which to build. Our village is clean, peaceful and prosperous. There are no polluting industries in our midst and property taxes are quite reasonable. Not only known for our rich history, culture and natural setting, we, at the Village de Memramcook, also make protecting the environment a priority.
Attentive to the needs of its residents, the Village de Memramcook has drafted a strategic plan that can be accessed and viewed online. With this plan, the Municipal Council wants first and foremost to carry out the population’s wishes as expressed during its last consultation process. Memramcook is a village overflowing with ideas. The entire team is constantly striving to improve the quality of life of its residents. Year after year, the Village de Memramcook improves its infrastructures to meet the growing needs of its population. We have worked hard to update our roadway system over the last few years. And, for the next item on our priority list: we will be improving our water utilities and sanitation services.
With its many Acadian heritage sites, the Village hosts a large number of cultural and artistic events. A fantastic 18-hole golf course, a resort (the old Collège Saint-Joseph) and a spa are also found in Memramcook. Not to mention that it is also home to the Monument-Lefebvre, a National Historic Site celebrating Acadian heritage. All kinds of wonderful activities take place in the Monument’s auditorium. A history museum, athletic fields and the Belliveau Orchard are but a few examples of what can be found in Memramcook.
Only 15 minutes away from Moncton-Dieppe, Memramcook is one of the greatest places to live in south-eastern New Brunswick. Come visit our website to learn more about our activities. And why not come by and see us? You’ll find good food, a warm welcome and spectacular natural surroundings! Not to mention tranquility and all sorts of sites and services. Take the scenic route to Memramcook and zoom along route 925 up to l’église de Beaumont, a small chapel… You’ll want to come again and again. It’s guaranteed!
